We are so grateful to all of the women who work to make the 2013 provisionals feel welcome in the Junior League of Charlotte. They have been working diligently to make sure all plans are in place to ensure the provisional members have fun and informative experience.
One person involved in this work is Audrey Hood. Her provisional year inspired her to work with provisional members as her placement.
“I am currently serving as the Special Events Coordinator for the Membership Development Committee, which is a position I’ve held in the JLC since graduating from the Provisional class last fall,” she explained. “I loved my Provisional year, and having such a great experience made me want to join MDC as my placement. My small group was great, Magen was a wonderful advisor, and my favorite activity was the bus tour. I even enjoyed volunteering at the WearHouse, because it gave me the opportunity to meet other provisionals who weren’t in my small group. I hope that new provisionals enjoy their provisional time just as much as I did!”
