The Transfers of the Junior League of Charlotte, Inc. had their holiday social at Wine Loft. On December 16, transfer members, as wells as the transfers advisors, Jessica Walker (Vice-Chair), and Amanda Simula (Chair) enjoyed a fun evening connecting with one another. They played a game called ‘White Santa’ while exchanging ornaments, which encourages friendly ‘stealing’ of gifts. The game was a fun way to get into the holiday spirit and to show appreciation to one another.
The transfer group consists of ladies who have relocated to Charlotte or the surrounding area and bring with them a variety of experiences and knowledge from other leagues. The transfer group does a social monthly for the transfer members. In the past, they have met at Sullivan’s where the transfers mingled with the management team, and had an evening at the Mint Museum followed by dinner at Halcyon.
The next scheduled event is a Meet and Greet with the JLC’s Board of Directors while enjoying manicures and pedicures at Polished. This event is scheduled for Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.
