What is SPAC?

The State Public Affairs Committee (SPAC) is a collaboration of the Junior Leagues within North Carolina and represents all of the women in those Leagues. Participating NC Leagues select two SPAC delegates to represent them at meetings across the state approximately four times a year. SPAC advocates to state and local governments to address issues that coincide with SPAC’s selected focus of the dental health of children. Delegates also sit on the Junior League of Charlotte, Inc. (JLC) Advocacy and Public Awareness Committees.

The Junior League of Charlotte SPAC has developed an alliance with Moore and Van Allen Law Firm to support our International Human Trafficking Day Training, as well as establishing a human trafficking pro bono legal service initiative to victims, and local human trafficking service providers.  As a result of this successful partnership, we are moving forward with sponsoring a bi-monthly speaker series.
