My Civic Leadership Journey:

From the Junior League to the JFK Profile in Courage Award
Featuring: Elizabeth Redenbaugh (bio)

Elizabeth Redenbaugh is a busy mom, dedicated wife, talented attorney, passionate advocate, school board member, fearless integrationist and the winner of the 2011 John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award. In this inspiring session, hear the story of how her experience with the Junior League of Wilmington, North Carolina opened her eyes and set her on a trajectory that would change her life forever. Elizabeth will share compelling information about the issue that ignited her fire – the resegregation of schools in her county, and how that issue fueled her passion for advocacy and launched her career as an elected official. She will also discuss the courageous actions that earned her such prestigious recognition, from where that courage came and how she balances a full and busy life.

This session is sure to educate and inspire every Junior League member as we head into another successful League year together.
