Connect on a Global Level with Members and Other Junior Leagues on Guatemala Service Trip

As we continue to evolve through our #WeConnect theme, we are excited to share details on an exciting way to go global with our connections. The Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (AJLI) and Cross-Cultural Solutions (CCS), a leader in the field of international volunteer travel, have partnered together to offer Junior Leagues and their members the opportunity to volunteer internationally. This alliance will provide us with unlimited possibilities to connect with and learn from local people in global communities.

Join AJLI for the first Junior League International Volunteer Trip to Guatemala from January 31 through February 7, 2015. Members from Junior Leagues across the U.S. and other member countries have the opportunity to explore the heart of Mayan civilization and quickly understand why so many people have a special place in their heart for Guatemala. When you volunteer in Guatemala, you’ll assist with the growth and development of children, improve education for children, improve health and the sense of dignity among the elderly, or enhance the quality of healthcare. In addition to volunteering, there will be opportunities to visit idyllic beach towns, wander Mayan ruins and climb active volcanoes.

Take advantage of a life-changing experience to come together, discover new things and hear about the world from a fresh perspective. This trip is also open to family and friends.

Learn more about the trip at http://www.ajli.org/?nd=benefits_ccs. To register, please visit http://www.crossculturalsolutions.org/ajli.

In the spirit of our #WeConnect movement, we encourage you to join the conversation and share the meaningful ways you are connecting and making an impact – whether on a local or international level. Follow us on FacebookTwitter and Instagram, and tag the JLC with the #WeConnect hashtag.
